Troubleshooting
Use verified general Shopify guidance to investigate previews, editor settings, media, collection visibility, Markets, app blocks, and browser caching.

Start with the right context
Theme preview access
Confirm which draft theme you are previewing. For someone outside your admin, generate a current shareable preview link using Shopify’s controls. Preview links can expire; create a new link if access has stopped. Do not assume a draft preview is your published storefront.
Theme editor settings
Check that you opened the intended theme and template. Global theme settings and section-specific settings have different scopes. Review the preview after a change and save your intended edits. Duplicate your theme before experimenting with changes you may need to discard.
Product images
Check the product’s media in Shopify admin and confirm the image is associated with the intended product. Media support depends on the theme and media type. If a gallery behaves unexpectedly, compare the original asset with the storefront display and identify the affected product and viewport before requesting help.
Collection visibility
Confirm that the collection has the Online Store sales channel activated before trying to preview its collection template. Check that you selected the intended collection in the editor. A missing resource can be a publication or template-context issue rather than a theme error.
Shopify Markets
Check the market context when the editor and storefront show different content. Market customizations can override the default experience and depend on your Shopify plan. Confirm your store’s eligibility and the intended market before changing shared content. Contact Devoynx to discuss Veylora requirements for your markets.
App-block compatibility
App blocks require a compatible theme and may support only certain templates or sections. Check the app’s documentation and whether its block or app embed needs to be added or activated in the theme you are testing. Ask the app developer about its requirements and contact Devoynx to discuss Veylora compatibility enquiries.
Browser caching
Try a current browser, a private window, or another device to isolate a local display issue. If needed, clear the browser cache and cookies; clearing cookies can sign you out. Compare the result before making theme changes, and record whether the problem is limited to one browser.
What to include when asking for help
Describe the expected behavior, what you observed, and the steps to reproduce it. Include your browser and device, the affected page, and whether you were using a draft or published theme. Remove personal or customer information. Never share passwords, access tokens, payment details, or Shopify collaborator access codes.
