Shopify Online Store 2.0Updated
On this page

Before you start

Use a Shopify store with the Online Store channel and an account permitted to manage themes. Keep a duplicate of your current theme before making changes. Confirm that any theme package comes from its legitimate publisher.

Add a theme to Shopify

  1. In Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes.
  2. If you already have a legitimate theme ZIP, use Import theme → Upload zip file and select the archive. Shopify’s labels may change; consult its current guide below.
  3. Wait for the upload to complete and find the theme in Draft themes. Adding a draft does not publish it.

Contact Devoynx for Veylora package, version, licensing and installation enquiries.

Preview before publishing

  1. Open the draft theme’s preview from the Themes page. Check that the preview is showing the intended theme.
  2. Open the theme editor to try content and settings. Review product, collection, and cart pages at desktop and mobile widths.
  3. For feedback, create a shareable preview link using Shopify’s preview-sharing controls. A preview is separate from publishing your live store.

Use Shopify’s standard preview workflow to review the theme and your store content before publishing.

Before any live theme change

Review navigation, product information, collections, pricing, shipping information, and your essential apps with your store team. Keep the existing theme available for recovery. Publish only a legitimate release that you have reviewed and tested for your store.
